Our founders – Joel Calderon and Joe Standridge – spent decades as shop hands, purchasing specialists, salesmen and foremen in the fire protection industry. As they worked their way up, they saw customers getting frustrated with big company processes and self-interests. Some organizations seemed to value profits over professionalism, placing a greater focus on cutting corners than customer service.
Joel and Joe knew there was a better way. They started Diamondback in 2013 to be the premier customer service-focused company in the fire protection industry. Their mission: to give customers the same industry-leading products and services the big companies pitch – but with the attention and care only a small business will offer.
